First ZA Bear Mount!
 

It's been a while since we've had any updates, but finally we've been able to complete the timed event in Zul'Aman and scored a bear mount for Dioo! And we did this short a healer for the last two bosses!! Great accomplishment to everyone that was there, and hopefully, Aftermath will be swarming with bears in the very near future!!

Yeah it definitely is going away. The same as the ability to get the "Champion of the Naaru" and "Hand of Ad'al" titles. The bear mount was put in as a way of rewarding the effort it takes to complete the timed event. At level 80, the timed event will be trivial. There will still be a reward for completing the timed event after Lich King comes out, but it won't be a bear mount. I did hear that they were adding in another bear mount in Lich King, probably some kind of polar bear I'm guessing.

But yeah, the hope is that we can continue running the timed event and get as many people bear mounts as we can. The key to winning is perfect execution, especially for us who aren't as well geared as some of the other guilds that are currently farming bear mounts. Basically a wipe at any time during the run means failure. We finished with barely 2 minutes left on the timer. Granted that was minus a healer. The fact that we did it 9 man with 1 and a half healers for the last two bosses and still got it makes me confident that we can continue to farm these mounts.

Do we still have non-mount runs going? I think the bear mount is wicked cool and would love to put some time into getting one, but I have done ZA only once very early on and don't want to be the cause of a group missing out on a bear, is there interest for learning runs with the idea that we might push for the bear once we start to get the hang of it?

Does this guild run alot of ZA's?

We have run ZA, ever sice it came live on the realms. Some of us also tried it on the ptr before that:)
